The most important thing today was attending my monitor school teacher observation by the school principal and the head of the faculty. Both observers take their job seriously, and they were moving between tables to check activities and students understanding, and, they moved around the classroom to check everything. For instance, the principal asked why there is no tissues box, while the head of the faculty took different books to check students work.
However, during my monitor school teacher observation, the bill range which was the sign for the fire drew and this was the second time to experience this event during my teaching experience in the school in only four weeks. In my opinion, having two training sessions for fire safety in one month is more than what students need, and it takes their studying time. I think the best solution is to have one training session each term instead of having multiple training .
During my monitor school teacher, several things caught my attention; firstly, the centers learning had the same activities that students were working on in the last week, but with some modifications. For instance, the teacher added the answers for each activity by printing them and organizing them in folders which were a good idea to allow students to assess themselves. Secondly, there was not any teaching even if it is my MST's observation and the whole period was a revision for several lessons. Lastly, the teacher used the same activities that my colleague and I applied during our teaching sessions which means they were successful.
Furthermore, several students brought their projects about ecosystems today even it due tomorrow, and it was interesting to see their work that placed in different tables outside the classrooms.
