These are examples of students work on their final project where they design a shoe box about one type of the ecosystems. Students have four types of ecosystems to choose one and display animals and plants that can live in the selected environment. These types are the desert ecosystem, arctic ecosystem, rain-forest ecosystem, and the grassland ecosystem.

These are examples of students work on creating a poster about healthy and unhealthy foods. Students work in groups to draw different pictures for foods in each section, and after that, they label each image with its name.

These are examples of students writing about different types of ecosystems. Students have to write a description about one of the following ecosystems: the desert ecosystem, the rain-forest, ecosystem, grassland ecosystem, and arctic ecosystem. Students mention the examples of plants and animals that can adapt to the chosen ecosystem and then draw a picture to represent that ecosystem.

These are examples of students writing during one of my teaching sessions. Each student has a booklet where s/he writes choose one animal and write a description of its most important sense and explain how it is essential in finding foods for this animal. Also, students draw a picture of their selected animals.
